Sorry no, I have not had a screen without the OptiBright treatment.

I forgot to mention I dialed in -0.7 exposure compensation with the screen.

Not voiding the Warranty makes allot of sense considering "The 
Magnusson-Moss Warranty Federal Trade commission Improvement Act of
1975" (http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/15/ch50.html#PC50).

I am not an attorney.  Please consult a real one.  However my understanding 
of Magnusson-Moss is the requirement for the
manufacturer to prove a modification caused the failure to void a warranty.

Considering the F6 I own allows consumer changing of focusing screens, such 
would be a stretch.
