[Leica] My beautiful M8 is here, just how long does that orange light stay on?

Office Depot had SanDisk II Ultra (2gb) cards on sale today for $17 a pop.
Most of the budget-minded folks who use M8's these days rely on a fairly
cheap little card made by Transcend. They make a 16gb card that I'm almost
positive would not work with an M8 (too good to be true).
