Well, for $2K you can have it replaced AND have a quieter shutter.......

..... OK, I apologize.....

It hurts to have your prized camera broken in any way...... Best read the
warranty.... The way I heard it and  unlike a REAL passport warranty, if you
screw up..tough.

Cal Leica tomorrow and ask..... that way you know the corporate line......
