So after less than 6 hrs of use and shooting erratic crazy models, I'm
posting a few Nikon D3 images. All are shot at
1600iso,4000iso,5000iso,6400iso. I'll have some better samples this week but
for now you'll have to just view my crazy model tests.

www.zoeicaimages.com/D3Test - I realized that the 2nd image is listed
wrong, it should say 6400iso instead of 1600iso.

6400iso is completely awesome! Can't say I'll use it too much but it's damn
nice to know it's possible.1600iso on the D3 looks like Nikon's D200,D2x
320iso. Extremely clean images at high iso's. I can set the camera to Auto
ISO and have plenty of faith in the images now. I used to do this with the
D200,D2x but limited it to 800iso.

AWB does a pretty good job so far, shooting inside with household lights and
a mix of TV light. By far the best Nikon AWB yet. I'll still stick with
Kelvin for serious shooting.

2 card slots! Yes, one for shooting RAW and one for Jpeg. Sweet.

I'll have to practice with this 51 point 3D focusing thing, that's allot of
focus points!

Bring on those dark Cathedrals!

Having fun,
Chris
