Subject: [Leica] M8 Shutter Fault, Help!

Wow!
 
I've been in obsolete camera heaven too long!
I had no idea M8 shuitters could derail so easily.
I have gotten swabs stuck in EOSes a few times
and they do jam, but removing the swab and then  
pulling and reinserting battery resets them just fine. 
To make things worse the M8 inquestion failed all by itself!
 
Anyway, back to the isssue at hand. I had not read the original
post. If it's under warrantee i wouldn't touch it or I would
do so making sure not to leave any evidence of tampering.
