Yes.  A tripod.  Don't think about it, do it!  What camera?

Now about that film...... Acros and Tmax100 are supposed to be smaller grain
films.  FP4 is about the most tonal of films now out there, and probably has
the most info on development of any film now on the market..  What are you
trying to accomplish?  Tonality or grain reduction?

And, BTW, all the films you mentioned are great for what you wish to do.
