Actually this is why the RD-1 and the RD-1s are snatched up whenever 
it shows up used. The price seems to settle down around $1400-$1800, 
which is pretty good price. At $3000, which was what I paid for, it's 
a bit overpriced, but then I shot over 15,000 frames in 3 days so I 
am happy with that.
