In 1967 or maybe 1968 Clarke came to UC Davis to speak. I met him and
had the chance to chat with him, just the three of us - him, his
handler, and me. I was carrying my Leica IIIg?.  We talked about the
shooting of 2001.

I'm looking EVERYWHERE for the photos I took of him, some of them were
actually pretty good, as I recall. Too many moves and boxes I'm
afraid. If I find it there'll be photos of my old girl-friend. Good
thing my wife is in Duluth....
