Tina,
It requires a little practice to keep the Dhotis up. We were trained when
young by wearing a belt over the dhotis so the damn thing didn't fall off at
an inappropriate time! The quickest drying underwear which are still
comfortable in the heat and humidity, and easily available here are
Cotton/Nylon or Cotton/Lycra blends.
