Dear fellow Luggers

I was pleasantly surprised to note that the Canon 20D continues to be
featured and I presume this model is still current and in force

Please advise me if the Nikon 80 - 200 Zoom Lens ( favoured by John Shaw )
Will be just as effective as the similar Leica R piece ?

Does any Lugger have any experience with my suggested combination ? And the
result ?

Thanks for your much appreciated advice

Joseph Low / Singapore

I bought a E3 system for small tele lenses. I have been totally
underwhelmed by the results of the AF with long lenses and
unfortunately manual focus on a tiny screen is hit and miss - usually
miss. With normal and wide lenses is fine, but so is everything else.
The E510 with kit lens is pretty impressive for the money. It is no M8!
