Jim, I don't have an e-510 but I do have the e-3 which has the same 10mp 
sensor.  This shot was taken with an Apo-telyt 180mm/3.4 on the e-3 at 
iso 640;

as far as Mark's concerns about excessive high iso  noise they are 
unfounded , this was shot at iso 1250 and stood up well to an 11x14 for 
the bride;
