Yes but!
The complexity and frequency of the knurling means I only see the points of
a small area as sharp, whereas the simpler lines of the corner and two holes
don't need as much sharpness. Actually I assumed that you used some offset
movement to produce the plane of sharpness shown. It looks to angle back
into the image- corner, a crescent of the knurling and part way into the top
surface??
Might be partly a frame of reference thing, I can mentally recall the feel
of the machined surface as would anyone who has used a lathe or good
tooling.
Enough analysis and waffle for me for today, maybe ;-) Twenty one prints
await mounting and framing here.

Cheers
Geoff

First I must pay tribute to your time consuming and disciplined
commenting.

In fact I chose:
Sharpness on "part of the knurling" which, for me, translates to
enough read that form.
Sharpness on the corner.
Sharpness on the edges of the two circles above the knurling.
To achieve an overall composition of "sharp areas."

I don't often seek to "lock on;" rather, I generally seek lyrical eye
movement and asymmetrical balance.
For me - it works pretty well in these regards.

Fond regards,
George
