Douglas,

While the 11 o'clock Elmar is not rare, it is uncommon to find one  
today. It was probably built around 1932 and is not coated. If there  
is no haze the performance is probably OK but not in the same league  
with the much later 3.5 Elmar with the red dial (depth of field  
numbers in red). Also is the lens made of nickel (a more yellow/tan  
color) or chrome? And lastly look on the underside of the mount. Is  
there an "O" engraved? In any case don't get rid of the lens. If it's  
in good shape it may be collectable.
