Subject: [Leica] LUG - Way over my budget...

The APUG is a good source of info and discussion of different films
and processes, developer chemistry, paper and darkroom technique.
They also discuss hardware and have a rangefinder forum as well. I
subscribed for a year but soon became bored as they did not get into
my interest areas in enough detail. I still search APUG from time to
time if I have a question about a particular developer. But that's
it. There are also times when I get bored with a particular thread on
the LUG that beats a subject to death. In those cases the delete key
works just fine. In general the LUG keeps up my interest by the
posting of beautiful images and reading about the hardware I would
love to have but will never be able to afford. I enjoy my Leica and
Nikon equipment and shoot both digital and film. While the digital
images are instant and of high quality, it is the images I take from
film that I treasure the most.

And Jan I had a B22XL enlarger that I had to sell. I regret selling
it to this day. Some three years later I tried to replace it and
ended up with a B-600 which I still have. I hope you stay on the LUG
and share some of your photos with us, especially those you take from
your chosen profession. By the way my favorite camera is a IIIf and
not my M8.

Regards,
Len
