Hi Greg

Lange is from the stables of IWC - just as Panasonic makes the Leica
range of Digital P&S

By the way - IWC was started by an American - do not know if they still
own it though

Hi Jayanand,

I've pretty much stayed with IWC over the years. Most interesting to me
today are the vintage Pilot watches and Ingenieur's with the 1963 version
(8521 movement) being my favorite. I don't really like IWC's current line of
large watches although they sell really well (to others).

The Lange 1 is really something else though. Finished to Patek standards
with an unique look that is really timeless. The Lange is to dress watches
what the IWC Mark 11 is to pilot's watches.

I don't see prices coming down on these, although they may be more
affordable in the US if the dollar continues to improve against the Euro.

Regards,
