IWC is owned by Richemont, together with A.Lange, Cartier, Jaeger LeCoultre,
Panerai, Vacheron, Piaget, Montblanc and Dunhill amongst other brands.
Richemont is owned by Johann Rupert, who is South African - the money and
cash flow comes principally from tobacco, they used to own Rothmans, and now
own about 30% of British American Tobacco.
