I envy the gourmet meals that some of you are having. Given the wind
chill temperature of -5 F expected in Times Square tonight, my wife
and I will watch the ball drop on television in the comfort of our
warm living room. We will be dining on home made chili, washed down
with a bottle of premium New York State champagne. Don't sneer you
Francophiles. New York champagne is very good. Remember that most
French wines are grown on American rootstocks. Given the fact that we
have two bottles for the two of us, tomorrow we may have a kudzu
salad from my son's Georgia kudzu plantation. Happy New Year to all
Luggers. Especially those who use LTM Leicas.
