Well, birds aren't "related" to dinosaurs:  birds 
are the last surviving archosaurs.  As Robert 
Bakker neatly puts it in THE DINOSAUR HERESIES, 
the next time you see a flock of Canadian geese 
overhead, turn to your SO and note, "look, dear, 
the archosaurs are migrating again!"
