Jinnah's grandchildren and their progeny are all in India, and run an
industrial empire which encompasses textiles, chemicals and an airline.

I had Pakistani friends in Dubai 20 years ago whose relatives used to carry
a gun with them every time they stepped out of the house in Karachi - though
Oxbridge educated, they were feudal landlords, and they were always wary of
kidnapping attempts and blood feuds. So this is nothing new.

On second thoughts, its similar to the USA - in one country you can buy guns
legally, the other illegally, but both run by the "right to bear arms". I
think the NRA can increase their membership by opening a chapter in
Pakistan.

BTW, I just heard on the news that the Pakistani Govt has agreed to Sharia
Law in Swat... they are losing control, I think. The army will be back
sooner rather than later.

Cheers
