Subject: [Leica] IMG: Shama and Bulbul

Today's photos were made at the Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden in Kaneohe, a 
densely forested environment at slightly higher elevation than the coastal 
scrub.

The White-rumped Shama, a member of the thrush family has in common with 
many other thrushes a distinctly melodious voice.  In the Shama's case the 
voice is unusually powerful and exceptionally beautiful.

Lens 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt-R with 1.4x APO-Extender-R
Support  shoulder stock & monopod
Exposures f/4 (f/5.6 effective), slow shutter speed
