The Zurich Cafe has become a meeting point and a symbol for the Lugers

we meet in Barcelona, I shot frequently there and for this reason I've

decided create an exclusive album, I've upload on this album only new

pictures never posted before (except 1), all are in B&W except one I

prefer in color. I hope you enjoy it:

Hi Lluis

A very interesting series. Do you have many, if any of the subjects question
you about taking their pictures? Or do the owners ask you why you are taking
pictures of the guests?

Any time I've been in Europe it always feels so comfortable to "click away"
in cafes and almost anywhere and never, if ever, been accosted or dirty
looks at my taking pictures of people simply enjoying a lunch or drink. I
meant to ask Sonny if he ever has any kind of questioning when he shoots in
the "saloons" ? :-) So Sonny if you happen to see this, do people give you
a hard time? .

I think picture taking in Europe is never seen as an intrusion on a person's
privacy the way it's seen in North America. I can't imagine sitting in the
Empress Hotel Taj Mahal lounge snapping away without some security guy
coming along and ordering me to stop. Or a patron come to me and ask, "Why
the hell are taking pictures of me?" Any time this has happened the person
always look like they are. "known to the police!" :-)

Europeans seem so relaxed and easy going about this picture taking thing
compared to many other countries.
