Subject: [Leica] M8 killed the 135?

James, film M's were never intended or designed to use 180mm lenses. Do you
have access to an M8? 3x pairs of framelines, 135 dropped, 24 has been
added. Arguably much more useful. The 90 frames are already small anyway.
Have a look through and it well tell the tale. Rangefinder accuracy is
another issue to consider and sensor focus tolerances also. You can find the
maths on-line if you're so inclined.
