Subject: [Leica] M8 killed the 135?

The issue is presumably a combination of the change in actual viewfinder
magnification and the 1.33x crop factor.? When you consider those together,
an unassisted 135mm on the M8 just doesn't work well.? The solution
suggested earlier was the Elmarit with the goggles, which should work OK.

Ok. The M7 .72 finder has framelines for 135. The frame and image size
would be too small and inaccurate in the .68 M8 finder? Does 0.03
really make that much difference, or is this a marketing decision?
