Hmmm, this sounds odd.

I would think if it was sharp on the ground glass or focusing screen, it 
would be sharp on the CCD.

Are you hand-holding?  Is it camera shake?  The Visoflex has a pretty 
significant action - mirror goes up, then you contact the shutter, and 
then fire the shutter.
