Hi Howard:

You may recall some discussion at dinner in Seattle about R lenses on the 
D700; there were no readily available images to share and the jury was out

Looks like the jury is in on the Leica R/D700 combo.  Lovely.

On my Macbook Pjro 13",  the D700 sensor replicates the R bokeh nicely.

The Parrot is especially attractive.  I can imagine an 11x17 enlargement, no 
problemo.  Monkey reminds me of what I see in the mirror, each and every 
morning...
