I agree and I hope Leica is going to offer that camera themselves and for
people with a  more limited budget. The digital medium should allow them to
go back to their smaller original RF size (III - IIIg).
Leica have already "rediscovered" that classic size and shape in the X1 -
now we just need that body with M (or the more compact SM!) mount. (But
Cosina might beat Leica to it.)

I am amazed people on this list are so excited about the EP1 and GF1 ilk
with their poor add- on EVFs.  The only rationale justifying one of these
overpriced things is the (limited) ability to mount M lenses on it.
