Hi Brian, Mark,
I have had 2 bosses who had this talent. However p*ssed off you were with 
them, and they needed me more than I needed them in those days, they always 
managed to make you think they had/would deal with all the problems, but 
never did anything. One of my colleagues, who is world famous now, wouldn't 
talk to one of them about anything since he -knew- he would be persuaded to 
do what the boss wanted against his better judgement.
This is a big rare "talent"
