I've been using Nikon before Leica, in the analog age.
Now I'm using a Canon 5D MkII, with Leica lenses.
Just because there isn't R10, nor other serious response for R lenses users.

I haven't tried Nikons, but I have used Canons - the 5D and the 1DMII and
the 1DsMII. The images from those cameras do not begin to compare with the
images from Leicas. I'm convinced the difference is first the lenses and
second the CCD sensor instead of the CMOS and third the absence of the AA
filter. Whatever it is, it is obvious when you look at the images. All you
have to do is look at Doug Herr's photos and you know why he uses Leicas.
I'm sure Doug's photos would be wonderful made with any camera system, but
they are spectacular made with Leicas.
