Subject: [Leica] More HK Panos R lenses on the D700

Its always a thrill to see if these pans and stitches do the impossible and
work anyway despite all odds. One would think these moving boats would throw
them for a loop and you'd wait than then get" "sorry! But we have no idea
what you are doing here! Come back tomorrow!. But now they have moving boat
algorhythms in them. All known boats are entered.
For today's computers not a knotty problem.

> Hi Luggers,
> This morning we took the slow ferry with the open back deck (great for
> photos) from Central to Mui Wo on Lantau Island to visit a friend's
> shop and have lunch at the Turkish restaurant. Luggers who have
> visited us in Hong Kong will know the routine. I took along the D700,
> the 90mm R Summicron and the 28mm R Elmarit, Here are a few photos.
> The air wasn't as clear as the other day but still not bad.

> This is one of the Macao fast ferries. I had the 90 cron on the D700 -
> the ferry, too close, filled more than the frame, so I took two shots

> Here is a two panel pano of the Discovery Bay ferry leaving Mui Wo for
> Disco Bay. Taken with the 28 Elmarit R on the D700 and stitched in CS4
