Hey, Bob:

Certainly you can email a photo from the iPhone 4 (and probably earlier) but 
it goes as and attachment to a blank message that you complete and send to 
an address where somebody gotta open the email and the photo is there.  I 
use this for job site photos of problems or Before/After documentation.  For 
that, it works really well, plus I have the HDR built in to the latest 
iPhone OS Update.

You could either go the App Store or Google (Yahoo? Bing? Whatever...) words 
describing a gallery placement app.

Who knows?  Could already be one out there.
