All technies do that, whatever the "science" ,
bringing complexity is part of forming a self-justified community which goes 
as far as inventing their own language as a proof of their existence, and 
meaning-tight acronyms for the layman to stay out; think of our RAW, SM, 
LTM, LEI, CA, etc 
;-)


Ph who works with mathematicians, lawyers, chemists, linguists, economists, 
etc.

Actually, I try to make things as simple as reasonable. Making things 
complex is far easier. :)

After all, it is just a bunch of bits at the end of the day. The art of 
computer programming is making sure the right bits are in the right order at 
the right time with minimal amount of effort.
