A 45 degree viewfinder lets you look at the camera at a lower height (more
natural hand holding, lower tripod height) than the 90 degree, however the
latter is needed if not shooting square.

An ELX is heavier/bulkier than a CW, preferable in the studio (less likely
to move the camera during shutter re-cock) but I would/did take a CW for
landscapes (as well as not needing batteries).
