Nathan,
I beg to differ - stuff like insider trading, front running your customers
and selling securities under false pretenses (i.e. you are simultaneously
shorting the same security on your own account) is illegal in most
countries. There is no will to go after the moneybags, that is all. Geithner
and Bernake are assured directorships at a top investment bank on
retirement. Actually, this is what happens here all the time, but the eye
opener is that the developed world is no different.
