Well it was really a treat to meet a couple of LUGgers!

At first I saw this very tall man taking my picture. Thinking it was a
reporter
for the British Journal of Photography, I put on my best smile for a couple
of
clicks and then introduced myself. At first the name didn't register, but
then
the light came on and we (Jane and I) had lovely conversations with Adam and
Jan
throughout the course of the evening. Thanks Adam, to you both, for coming
to
support the show. I'm so glad you enjoyed. We're looking forward to our
lunch!

And of course meeting Herb and his wife (he left Ming at home) was another
highlight of the evening. Thank you Herb; it was a pleasure to meet you in
person.

And I'm not sure if Godfrey is still lurking on the list, but it was a sure
great to see him. Thanks for coming Godfrey.

Great show, great people; what more can you ask for??

Best,
Bob

Quick, while it's still the 1st of April!

I can't make it anything other than what it was: a fun time with a wall full
of
Bob's photography wonderfully framed and drool-worthy. In addition two of
Bob's
works graced the entry to the exhibit, luring us in. There were a LOT of
people
there. We arrived about 6:30 or so, I think, and the space was already
crowded
enough that it was hard to see the art!

Both Jan and I felt it was a wonderful experience. Meeting Bob and his wife
Jane
was wonderful. I hope to entertain them in Davis in the not-too-distant
future.
Maybe I can lure some local LUGers to an impromptu weekend luncheon!

I'll post some snaps from the exhibition tomorrow.
