Certainly a much greater field of view than the 25 alone. I've seen the NEX in action and it is pretty amazing technology. This newish shot consists of five frames with a 35mm lens (on M9) mounted vertically and pivoted around the entrance pupil. I used 30 degree increments. http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman/image/133506658 Out of interest at least one of Sony's new NEX cameras has the capability to approximate this IN CAMERA while it is handheld and fired continuously while being panned. That is a remarkable technical achievement.
