LUG -

I "solved" my computer problem by contacting Dell and having them reset my
computer the way it was when I got it from the factory. That means
reinstalling everything, but at least I'm starting with a clean slate.
Thank goodness I'm using Google Chrome and still have all of my e-mails,
calendars, etc. available in the cloud. I've managed to install Photoshop
and Lightroom and Breezebrowser and those are the programs I work with every
day. So far, so good.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm turning off automatic updates.
