Richard,
USA is getting younger, on average, like India, but unlike China & Japan,
where the populations are aging - China specifically because of decades of
the 'One Child' law. The US can really reap a demographic dividend in the
years to come - India can if they get their educational policies right
(somehow I doubt it), but the US has everything in place.
