Subject: [Leica] OT - upgrading Windows XP data and system disks - a quick howto

There is one rarely used but critical software that we need that has some
very weird requirements such that I have to use Acronis True Image to map a
stored image to a read only drive and run the software that way. Works great
except that the newest version of Acronis doesn't like certain things so I
am forced to keep a Windows 2000 machine around just for this purpose! I
will check out that free Acronis version thing - may be it will work with my
requirements, and 35 pounds or thereabout is cheap comparing to keeping an
ancient machine around!
