This only works on Seagate Drives..... The SW apparently checks the
manufacturer, and will not work with WD drives.....others ...?

I went to the Seagate site and downloaded Diskwizard and it managed the
format (in almost no time) as well as the clone operation. It can handle
partition duties and also backup and restore a hard drive. Best of all it
was a free download!
