...And the bulk of the shots on my LUG galleries translates to 36-127mm on
my D200 or D40x
127mm is a big jump and a half up from 70mm.
A 127 zooms right in there. An 70 gives you a half a pop closer.
So no its not a cropped version of the ultra conservative and out dated lens
35-70 setup.

Not that I'm using the  24.0-85.0 mm f/3.5-4.5 Nikkor lens full frame I
sometimes mess its grabbing power. But the fact that 24 is really 24 and not
36 makes up for it.
