I have memories of what I presume to be x-ray fogged film at the very end of 
my film use a couple of years ago. It looked like fogged in development, 
with shadows of the sproket holes, but processed by a reputable pro lab, 
with no other problems in that run in the d'n'd processing. That's why I now 
travel by air with digital only.

Remember that the images Tina posted the link to are damage from a
CTX-5000 or similar x-ray; a dual-beam scanner used to examine
checked-in luggage.  You won't see this patterned type of damage
caused by the kinds of scanners used on carry-on bags.  You will see
increased base fog and some inconsistent density from the inside to
the outside of the roll.
