The D4 is a little bigger camera.  The weight of a D4 vs M9 is much larger.
But if you put together a complete kit ....

Think in terms of M9 + Nocti + 28 Cron + 90AA   vs D4 plus 1 zoom of
28-whatever is the Nikon offering on zoom range.

The M9 Kit is not appreciably heavier than a D4.... Brass and more glass
elements being heavier than plastic and less/thinner glass elements.
The M9 Kit is more compact.

But all of this in irrelevant... it is the images that count.  And good
images can be created by both.
