The odds of winning the recent Mega Millions Lottery were 165 Million to
one. Or so goes the story in the paper.
As I listened to the numbers being drawn, I checked out our 10 tickets.
There are 6 numbers per ticket, with some repeating across multiple
tickets....
Of all the numbers drawn, we had precisely 2. That is out of 10 tickets
with 6 numbers each....with some dupes.
The previous draw, we had 1.
What are the odds of having 0, 1, or 2 numbers in a lottery like this?
