Subject: [Leica] Nikon D800E vs. D800

Not really. Sharpening cannot bring back detail that was blurred away, it
can only enhance detail that was already captured. Now with the 5DmkII
capturing more detail to begin with because of its higher resolution
compared to the 14n, it should be capable of equal sharpness at smaller
print sizes, but I can't get it too. Sharpen any more and they look
oversharpened and ugly. Sharpening is the hardest thing to get right, I
think, in digital work. So I may be doing it wrong.
