Subject: [Leica] Nikon D800E vs. D800

I agree sharpening is not easy. I have over sharpened many pictures and the
second time around with them I was much more carful and would rather err on
the under side. I keep learning.
And mistakes can be made which can be avoided such as sharpening at a large
size then making the pictures smaller than sharpening a second time.

But I do think sharpening is not a terrible thing.
It deals with this issue of most cameras having anti aliasing filters
perfectly. Like magic. We've been dealing with it for a long time and to me
its not a thing which is broke and needs to be fixed.
That said if they have real nice software to deal with anti aliasing it
might be best to just leave the damn things off.
I think we'll know for sure in a few months.
The issue will pop into grater clarity.
