So far they have preferred the sharpness of CCD over the high iso 
performance of CMOS. At the moment the only show in town with the CCD sensor 
is the M9. CMOS is everywhere since it is so much cheaper to mass-produce, 
so there is no problem buying a camera with that technology if this is 
preferred.
