I had about 50 pounds of TV  newsfilm gear piled on my shoulders, but I had
a IIIf stuck in my pocket, and I'd usually get a few shots off and send
them to UPI.

I think I got $7 a shot for every one they used.

Sometimes when the legislature was in session, I might sell five shots, and
that was a bundle on top of my regular $109 a week.
