I seem to remember being told that attendance jumped in 1996 when we began to do these publicity posters (in B&W back then). The pictures are also sent to local newspapers. Dr. Robert Greenler (seen in the Vermeer demo) is the founder of the lecture series, and I believe, the scientist who proved the existence of the infrared portion of the rainbow.
