I've heard people complain that the current Tri-X was 'ruined' by Kodak and isn't as good as the 'old' Tri-X. I don't see it. The current Tri-X is beautiful and seems about the same as it was before they switched to the current factory (which is when it was last reformulated). http://chriscrawfordphoto.com/chris-details.php?prodId=1236&category=10 This photo is HP5 in PMK. -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio http://blog.chriscrawfordphoto.com My latest work! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 Become a fan on Facebook On 8/25/12 11:44 AM, "Jeffery Smith" <jsmith342 at gmail.com> wrote: >HP5 was always a bit too muddy and contrasty for me (at least for my >developing routine). > >Regards, > >Jeffery >______________________ >Jeffery Smith >New Orleans, LA >www.400tx.com > > > > > >On Aug 25, 2012, at 10:42 AM, Ric Carter <ricc at embarqmail.com> wrote: > >> here, too >> >> ric >> >> >> On Aug 25, 2012, at 11:28 AM, Lew Schwartz <lew1716 at gmail.com> wrote: >> >>> My main iso 400 film has been HP5+ for years >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > >_______________________________________________ >Leica Users Group. >See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
