Subject: [Leica] MM - first impressions --- AN APOLOGY!

Compare Billy Bob Thornton's short b&w film of "Sling Blade" to the theatre
production.  I prefer the first - B&W seems more suitable and there are the
unanswered questions - but that's just me.  Now Churchill in Velvia would
give me nightmares.

I will never warm up to color photos of adult males. Winston Churchill's
portrait in Velvia? GAAA!  The only memorable (to me) photos of
post-Kodachrome wars are still in B&W. In Cold Blood and To Kill a
Mockingbird could have been shot in color, but it would have been a mistake
to do so.
